SONIA DUBOSE was born to the late Dorothy Titus and William Titus on December 10,1958 in Baltimore, Maryland. Sonia received her education at Frederick Douglass High School. She then went to work for The Department of Social Services for 20 plus years before retiring in 2017.

During her retirement Sonia loved to spend time her grandchildren, scratching her scratch offs, smoking her cigarettes and drinking some Paul Masson! One thing for sure and two things for certain, Sonia was going to tell you what was on her mind whether you liked it or not. She lived her life to the fullest although she enjoyed being home the most. Keeping a clean space was important to her so that's what she spent her free time doing. Not just her spaces, yours are too. Best believe if Sonia was there, the place would be spotless.

She fought some of her toughest battles with a smile on her face. Although she hit some bumps in the road of her toughest battles with a smile on her face. Although she hit some bumps in the road, Sonia was always able to overcome them. On September 26, 2026, the lord reached out and called Sonia home.

Sonia was preceded in death by her parents; Dorothy and William Titus, her son; Dwayne "Rico" Woodland, her sisters, Pamela Dubose and Devona Wade, and her brother, James Dubose.

She leaves behind to mourn her daughter, Miranda Robbins, her nephew who was more like a son; Corey Jones, her sister, Yolanda Broadie, her brothers, Everett Titus (Toni Titus) and Kenneth Titus, her grandchildren; Lil Rico, Tera, Ayden, Day'lan, Indigo and Da'mora, her nieces; Vemete (her favorite), Kristy (Francesca),Tyra, Brittany, Kia, Blessing and Tranita, her nephews; Tyrone, David and Malik, her great-nieces; Mikalah, Alay and Nakia, her great-nephew's; Deandre, Sam, Mason, Lil Corey, Cameron and Tyree. As well as a host friend that felt like family who she loved dearly.
