Sherley M. Holt Lovelace

Sherley Holt Lovelace daughter of the late Emmitt and Clarice Holt was born November 19, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed her life on March 13, 2020 after a short term illness.

Sherley received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She then went on to work at Manor Care Nursing Center for over 25 years. She married the love of her life Persy Lovelace. She made numerous friends wherever she went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her. Sherley was a true friend and was always devoted to everyone. She enjoyed her life. She loved playing cards and didn’t mind talking a little smack while doing it. She loved family cookouts and her favorite holiday was her birthday. She enjoyed coloring, music dancing and always spoke whatever was on mine.

Preceding her in death was her husband Persy Lovelace; two brothers Raymond Burns and Sylvester Burns; two sisters, Clara Dunn and Joann Dunn. Sherley leaves to mourn, one loving and caring brother Charlie C. Holt Sr.; one favorite niece, Clarissa Booza Holt; one goddaughter Ke’Anna and plenty of nieces and nephews great and great great ones as well, and a host of other family members and friends.
