Sheila T. Hull

SHEILA T. HULL, was born on July 9, 1946 to the late Hazel and Harry Custis in Baltimore, Maryland. On January 27, 2018, God sent his angels to bring home his precious child, after a lengthy illness. In his infinite wisdom, he quietly closed the eyes of our Precious mother.

Sheila was baptized at an early age at St. Francis Xavier Church. In 1964, she graduated high school from St. Francis Academy. In 1972, she became a devoted member of St. Matthews Rom,an Catholic Church. Throughout her life, she loved to hear the Word of God, frequently visiting many Baptist Churches in East Baltimore.

Sheila married Albert Charles Hull, Sr. in 1965 and from that union three children were born, Sonya, Sherry and Albert, Jr.

As a young adult, Sheila held several jobs working in healthcare and banking, but her passion and love was Cosmetology. Over three decades ago, she purchased, the well-known, Hollywood Beauty Salon, where she worked diligently until January 2012. Women would come from near and far to get their one of a kind press and curl or her famous soft waves no matter the wait.

Sheila (Mrs. Sheila) was loved by all. She was an Amazing mother, teaching her children, the true meaning of hard work. She opened her heart unconditionally; everyone benefited from her kindness, whether it was from a cooked meal, a place to stay, an ear to listen, a ride, or care giving, she was there. She never accepted nor wanted anything in return, a true servant of God.

Sheila was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Hull Sr., and her brother Harry Custis Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Sonya Hull, Sherry Howard and Albert Hull Jr.; grandchildren, Lewis Ely III, Brittany Hull and Mekhi Howard; son-in-law, Melvin Howard, Jr.; one aunt, Doris Woods; three sisters, Dianna Owens, Renee Custis, Karen Stewart (Purnell); two brother-in-laws; five sister-in-laws; best friend of sixty years, Mary Alice Hicks; dear friends, Novella Palen, Celestine Reed and Carmen Guzman; god-daughters, Carrie Jones, Ashley Drayton, Sheila Johnson, Shantel Bonaparte and a host of other relatives and friends.
