SHARON ANN YANCEY, daughter of Geneva McCall and Addison Yancey was born on November 19th, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on July 6, 2022.

Sherry as she was lovingly known to her family and friends received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated with a High School Diploma in 1974 from Fairmont High School. Sherry attended the Community College of Baltimore for one semester where she pursued a career in the Child Care Field. Sherry  loved children and they all loved her. This was affectionately shown by the many children she cared for.

Sherry was known for being a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Her talents included cooking and being a talented seamstress. Everyone whose path she crossed loved and cherished her. Sherry was the kindest person anyone could every meet. She had southern hospitality like her mother and will truly be missed.

Sharon leaves to mourn her daughter Cherika Clinton, one sister Karen Yancey and three grandchildren, Tyshauna Berrain, Ty'Shay Berrain and Collin Clinton; two nieces, Cheetaria Kimble, Keyskan Lewis, Victor Wilson and Keyshawn Wilson; Lakara Flowers, Malaijah Mays, Kha-riya Mays and Karonn Mays; three nephews, Robert Paige; Jamal Kimble, Kassidy Kimble and Kourtney Kimble, Mason Hailey, Jayce Hailey and MacKenzie Hailey.

Sharon's parents, Geneva McCall, mother and Addison Yancey, father; preceded her in death along with her sister, Vera Yancey, Torrie Doles her close niece and Madon Hailey her close nephew.
