On January 16, 2024, SHANIA NICOLE ROBINSON unexpectedly passed away in Memphis, TN. due to complications with diabetes and heart issues. Shania Nicole Robinson was born on July 22, 2003, to Erica M. Bailey and Warren Robinson Jr. in Baltimore, Maryland. Shania received her formal education in the Baltimore City and County Public School System, where she fell in love with theater and film. After graduating from Patapsco High School and Center of the Arts where she studied theater, she enrolled at the University of Memphis where she studied Film and Mass Communication.
Shania was born to be a star and was determined to be that shining light. Shania was always known for her laugher and smile. Shania always had a way of making everyone laugh even if she wasn't having a good day. Shania struggled with juvenile diabetes since the age of 3 but she never let her medical issues stop her from enjoying life. Shania may be the smallest person in the room but always had everyone's attention. She loved to read, dance, sing, act and make short videos. She was determined to prove to the world that she was going to change the narrative on movies and TV shows. She already proved that she could be and do anything she desired, when she decided to go to Memphis for school.
Shania was loved by everyone and was such an inspiration to most. She was brave and determined to live her life authentically. She is going to be missed but not forgotten. She completed the purpose that GOD set out for her. We are grateful for 20 years that we've gotten to know Shania and we will soon meet again.
Shania was preceded by her Grandmother Jolene Bailey and leaves her memory to be cherished by her Parents Erica Bailey-Queen (Jamaal Queen), God-father, Davon Austin, grandmother Sharon Queen and great-grandmother, Catherine Robinson; siblings, Donte and Samorah Neal; aunts, Tina Coates (Jerome Coates); Estell Lawson-Johnson (Harry Johnson), Wanda Robinson-Lang; honorary aunt Ebony Conyers and Warnica Robinson; cousins, Aniah Coates, Jarius Coates, Shanta Lawson, Malik Johnson, Sharae Johnson, Amiyah Addison, Nylah Oliver and Amari Oliver, as well as a plethora of family and friends. She will be missed by all.
