Sandra Gross Yewitt

Sandra “Sandy” Gross Yewitt, the loving daughter of Catherine Gross and the late Perry Gross. Sandy was born on October 31, 1958. She departed this life on October 8, 2020 after a short illness.

Sandra was affectionately called “Sandy” by most. She received her education from the Baltimore City Public School System. Sandy worked various jobs in the food service industry and worked as a Daycare provider.

Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was very family oriented. She especially loved her grandchildren and looked forward seeing them as often as she could. Sandy had a memory like no other, she remembered things that most people would forget. Sandy was a very likeable person, very approachable and personable, loved by all who knew her. Sandy also loved watching television and movies.

Sandra Gross Yewitt leaves to cherish her memory her husband Lionell Yewitt Sr., her mother Catherine Gross, her sons Ivy J and Adam, one daughter-in-law Heather, stepsons Lionell,Jr. and Jamar, one brother: Prentice Gross, one niece Omoya Gross, four sister-in-laws, four aunts, and her grandchildren: Elijah, Nathaniel, Noah, Jamar, Jr., Josiah and Jalen, and a host of other relatives which includes her cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Perry Gross and sister Omoya “Glen” Gross.
