Sandra L. Stewart

SANDRA LOUISE STEWART was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on May 11, 1961, to the late Floyd Alexander Sr. and the late Lillian Deloris Ford. Affectionately known to her family and friends as Sandy, she was a vibrant, outspoken spirit who loved to dance, dress up, spend time with loved ones, and cheer on her beloved Ravens.

Sandy received her education through the Baltimore City Public Schools System and proudly earned her high school diploma from Eastern High School. She began her career in childcare before transitioning to healthcare, where she found her true calling, sharing her compassion and joy through caring for others.

In 1977, Sandy met the love of her life. Timothy Clifton Sr. Together, they built a life and a tight-knit family that became her greatest joy. Their union was blessed with three children, twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Family and friends will miss Sandy deeply. She was truly the life of the party. Her laughter, warmth and unforgettable presence filled every room she entered. To her children, she was lovingly known as Lill, a name she wore with pride.

 Sandy leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Timothy Sr.; her daughter, Shawnta and son-in-law John; her sons and daughter-in-laws, Shannon Sr., Kiara, Timothy Jr., Tonnette; her sisters, Charlene and husband Clifton, Wanda and Renee; her brother, Floyd Jr. and wife April; her beloved grandchildren Jourdan, Shannon Jr., Dejor, Deshawn, Chay'se, Summer, Darrell, Denim, Sebastian, Dejour, Tamara and Timothy III; and her great-granddaughter Demi. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Ronnie and brothers-in-law Reginald, Melvin Jr., Anthony and Ivan; her dearest friends Jonetta and Ann: and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will hold her memory close to their hearts. 

Sandy's love, laughter and spirit will live on forever in those who were blessed to know her.
