SAMUEL DIRK MANIGAUILT was born to the late Herbert Manigauilt Sr. and Khariyyah Wangara. Samuel was known by many as Pitt, but most of all for the radiant smile he left behind.
Sam received his education in Baltimore City Public School System, where he attended Baltimore City College High School graduating with his diploma and knowledge for sports. He learned all he could about college, NFL & NBA sports. He enjoyed it so much that he shared the love with his sister his baby girl Kelly. Sam's # 1 teams where the Kentucky Wildcats, Dallas Cowboy's & Miami Heat. No matter the roads traveled or people he encountered, you could always count on Sam for a turnt up sports conversation. Sam possessed a smile that would light up any room and always had a loud quick verbal comeback with a hearty laugh to follow. Sam loved to entertain and spend time with his sister and love one's where they would have any night of the week a party when it came to sports.
Sam was a hard worker committed and dedicated where he was employed with R. E. Michael until he became ill and could no longer work fulltime. Although he couldn't work fulltime. Sam's energetic personality and determination wouldn't allow him to enjoy retirement. He worked part-time at Michael's Pizza as the delivery guy. Sam came in contact with many people and sure left an impression. Sam's favorite pastime outside of watching sports was spending time with his nieces and nephews especially Donnell, Kevin & Terrence Jr. talking about sports and girls. Sam had a unique relationship as father like role model with his nieces, Kira and Nia although there are his three little princess dolls, Moesha, Jasmin and Brittany.
Sam leaves to cherish his memory; one son Bilal; one grandson Malik; one sister Kelly; two bonus sisters, Le'Chadora and Aida; three brothers, Herbert Jr., Shah and Sultan; six bonus brothers, Terrence Sr., David Sr., Darren, Quindell, Mark and Charles; one goddaughter Nicole; a favorite cousin, Sissy whom he talked to daily; three uncles, Ronnie Sr., Sam and Stanley; one aunt Barbara; three great nieces; one great nephew and a host of Relatives and friends but a few relationships that will never be the same.
