Her love for children was evident, as she treated all of her daycare children like extended family, you would often find Rosalind with children well beyond business hours, including weekends and holidays.
Rosalind accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. As a child and young adult she would attend church services with her father and older siblings. Rosalind loved music and could often be found listening to and singing along with her favorite song, Yes by Shekinah Glory.
Often times you would find Rosalind sitting on the porch spending time and sharing a laugh with one of her favorite persons, Ronald "Toot" Bennett whom Rosalind loved, respected and adored; she considered him her "second dad."
In 1988, Rosalind married her former husband, Anthony hall and from that union, one of her greatest joys, Ashely Erika Hall was born. Rosalind later began dating the love of her life, Marcus Garner Gills Sr. and from this love they were blessed with two children , Marquia Garner and Marcus Garner Gills Jr. She referred to her three children as her "Heartbeat."
To know Rosalind "Mousie" was to love her. She was the type of person who would give the shirt off of her back if you were cold, of you were hungry she would make sue you were fed and if you needed a place to stay, her door wa always open. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews who looked at her like a big sister and friend. Her easy going personality, humble spirit and wit will be missed.
