Listen to Obituary

RONALD EDWARD LAWRENCE SR. son of the late Isham Lawrence and Helen Lawrence Price was born on October 12, 1959 and went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2020.

Ronnie was known early on as the responsible one, starting his family at a young age. His siblings share so many memories of him, from the house on Loyola Southway, to growing older together. Ronnie graduated from Lake Clifton High School (79), and started his career for the City of Baltimore as a Maintenance Coordinator. Ronnie continued his education at Dundalk Community College and became a Second Grade Stationary Engineer. He retired as a Maintenance Coordinator after 25 yrs of service with the City. He then went on to be an entrepreneur launching a pest control business with a friend, which also led to his very own small business known as Ron's Handyman.

Ronnie, affectionately known by loved ones, was a devoted father, grandfather and friend. He was friendly and funny. Ronnie always had a dog. He loved animals along with fishing, dressing sharp and his rose garden dedicated to his late mother, Helen. Ronnie loved dancing, at his birthday party last year, he personally made everyone get up and Dance!

Ronnie gave his life to the Lord at a young age and was known as a "Fisher of men". He brought many people to church including his sister Donna and his wife Jackie. He loved his family and made sure to call them often. If you didn't answer, he was going to call you back! He talked to his aunt Neida, brother Brian daily.

He made his mark in the world and will forever be with us. His work is done. No more pain, no more sorrow, no regrets. Now he is dancing with the angels and the ancestors. He will be forever loved and missed by many.

Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Jacquelyn Lawrence, two sons; Ronald Jr., Morrell & daughter in law Steely and one daughter Shanae, two stepdaughters, Zedane and Terri & son in law Brandon; two brothers, Brian and Gerald, one sister, Donna; one brother and sister in law Clarence & Rona Ward, grandchildren; Ronesha which preceded him in death, Marlo, Montrell, Sherrell, Tyler, Ronald III; two step grandkids; Brandon Jr,.
