Ronald E. Bell was born on January 18, 1948 to the late Herman C. Bell and Sarah Bell in Baltimore, Maryland. He transitioned from earth to the heavenly realm on Wednesday, June 24, 2015
with family and friends by his side.

Ronald, who was affectionately known as
"Ronnie", received his education through
the Baltimore Public School System. He
graduated from Dunbar High School in 1967.

He was drafted into the United States Army and served his duties in Germany. He attended The Community College of Baltimore and Coppin State
College. He worked as a youth supervisor at the Charles Hickey School for Boys until he became ill.

Ronnie married Joanne Lee on May 27, 1977. He
loved her very dearly, and fondly called her
'Joey". They enjoyed 38 plus years of
marital bliss.

Ronnie looked forward to orchestrating the
East Baltimore Reunion each year which he did
with great passion. He enjoyed trivia and
answered the trivia questions correctly most of
the time. He also enjoyed fishing on Captain
Wright's boat in Kent Island with his friends.

Ronnie loved singing karaoke at the Poet's Clubhouse or wherever the occasion allowed.

Ronnie had a unique flair for fashion and he did it his way. He was an entrepreneur in his own right as well as a history buff and an avid reader. He loved to quiz the children on history. Ronnie loved collecting music, movies, and sitting in Arthur's Barbershop where you could find him faithfully selling his CD's (with the friends special) or telling one of his jokes, or
taking his turn to buy hot dogs off the vendor's cart.

Ronnie had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a host of "Favorite Friends". He coined the word "Favorite" and to know the meaning of
"Favorite", you had to know Ronnie. Everyone was his "Favorite" until the next person came along. He was friendly, outgoing, known by many, and a
fun, loving person. He enjoyed gatherings with family and friends where he used to love to hand dance as long as he could. Ronald E. Bell had a great personality and was a good man.

'During his illness, he called upon the Lord and God became his refuge and strength.'

Ronnie leaves to mourn, his devoted and loving wife, Joanne Bell; son, Derrick Bell Mickey; four grandchildren, Derrick Jr., Jessica, Ashley, and
Taylor; mother, Sarah Bell; two brothers who preceded him in death, Philip and Reginald Bell; two brothers, Herman and Kenneth Bell; three sisters, Marianna Davis (Egan), Jaqueline Bell Boone (Alfred), and Roberta Bell; three aunts, Delores Bell, Madeline Santos, and Sharon Weems (Mark); sister in-law, Gwendolyn Grantham; brother in-law, Arthur Lee, and a host of favorite nieces, favorite nephews, favorite cousins, other family members, and friends.
