Ronald Tyrone Addison was born on January 10, 1950, to the late Charles Addison Sr. and Christine Bland-Addison in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on June 13, 2019, after a lengthy illness. Ronnie, as he was affectionately known, received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools and was a dedicated employee for Bethlehem Steel Corporation until his retirement in 2011.

As a young adult, Ronnie met and married the love of his life, the late Brenda Allen, on February 3rd, 1968. From this union there were three children, Mickey, Debbie and Tyra. Ronnie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Ronnie enjoyed family gatherings and celebrations. Ronnie was a very good looking and sharp dresser. He loved stepping out with his wife and friends attending Cabaret’s and social events.

Pop-Pop, as he was affectionately known to his grandchildren and children in the neighborhood, enjoyed spending quality time with them going fishing, amusement parks, and going to the beach. He was very supportive of his great-grandchildren, regularly attending sporting events, recitals and graduations. Also, loved relaxing at home watching his sport games and having his dog Buddy right by his side. Ronald attended Faith Baptist Church as a child. In 2011, Ronald rededicated his life to Christ and was baptized by Pastor Gregory R. Maddox. Ronnie made numerous friends wherever he went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. He was always a true friend and devoted family man. Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his special friend Roslyn Brown, going to the casino, bingo, cruising, concerts and spending time with her family.

He leaves to cherish his memories, three children Mitchell Addison, Deborah McCullough and Tyra Gay, two son-in-laws, Steven McCullough Sr. and Harry Gay Jr., six grandchildren Brijean, Kianah, Steven Jr., Davon and Kierra, ten great-grandchildren, (Maliyah preceded him in death); three brothers Charles, Malcolm and Wayne, two sister-in-laws Valerie, Phyllis, seven sisters, Mona Addison, Charlene Addison, Darlene Dorsey, Jacqueline Addison, Lynette Keith, Denise Hart and Spring Hart (Karen and Wanda preceded him in death) two brother-in-laws Lewis and James, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a very special loving and devoted friend Roslyn Brown.
