Robert Lee Oliver, son of the late Willis Oliver, Sr. and Irene Oliver was born on June 26, 1941 in Crewe, Virginia. Robert was one of seven children. On April 22, 2016 he was suddenly called home to be with the Lord.
He received his early education in Nottoway County, Virginia. Later, he moved to Baltimore, where he was employed by several companies. One of his favorite places of employment was the Coca-Cola Company.
Robert was an extremely pleasant person to be around and was well liked in his community on Federal Street. Many knew him as 'The Godfather'. Rob loved playing his goldie-oldie music. One of his favorite pastimes was playing cards with his family and friends. He also enjoyed having birthday cookouts with his family and friends.
Rob was preceded in death by: his brother, Willis Oliver, Jr. and his daughter, Theresa Oliver.
He leaves to cherish his fond memory: two sisters, Millie Oliver and Bernadette Jones; three brothers, Clarence Oliver, John(Sharon) Oliver and James(Dorothy) Oliver; two aunts, Rosetta(Clarence) Bullock, Dr. Annie Lee Master; great aunt, Mazie Jennings; his barber, Joe Harvey; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
