Robert Lee Grant, son of the late John and Lula Grant, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on March 30, 1952. He was called home on February 27, 2022.
Robert was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and went on to higher education after graduating from Southern High School.
Robert loved the lord and fellowshipped at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah and First Charity Baptist Church.
Robert, known to most as Rah-Rah, Slow, or Black, was a loving and beautiful person. He had a heart of gold. Everyone enjoyed his company. He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that will never be forgotten.
Rob was with the love of his life, Shirley, for over 40 years. Rah-Rah loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was known for his style and fashion (always looking sharp). He loved his suits and hats. He enjoyed dancing and having a few beers. Slow loved to eat. One of His favorite meals were banana and mayonnaise sandwiches.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Shirley Thomas (wife); 4 children: Robin Grant, Robert Grant Jr., Antonio Grant and Lakisha Prioleau; 1 daughter in law: Jerrie Grant; 3 sisters: Deborah McNeely (James), Patricia Colbert and Pamela Thomas (Jonathan); 1 brother: Clarence Grant (Paula); 3 sisters-in-law: Doris Byrd (Horace), Corinda McLean (Andy), and Karen Pulley (Marvin); 7 grandchildren: Tiffany Cook, Taijah Ellerbe, Robert Grant III, Antonio Prioleau, Kendrick Grant, Khayla Grant, Amyah Grant, (Little Tony- preceded him in death); 1 great grandchild: Justin Cook and a host of nieces and nephews, other family and his longtime friends around Preston & Bond and North & Charles.
