ROBERT LEE 'BOBBY' ALLEN, son of the late Lloyd George Allen and the late Virginia Lee Allen was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 26, 1953. He departed this life after a lengthy illness on June 3, 2016.
Robert was affectionately called 'Bobby' or 'Bob' by his family and friends. Bobby received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. At an early age, Bobby began working at Harr-Winn Parking. Later he moved to Allright Parking and lastly Bulge Laundry before becoming self-employed. Bobby gave his life to Christ in 2000 at New Lebanon Calvary Church under the leadership of Rev. Willie Quick.
Bobby enjoyed hanging out with his friends from down the way. He enjoyed family gatherings and cooking out and spending quality time with his grandson. Bobby had a smile that would light up a room and melt your heart. After his health declined, he would invite his brothers to come to his house to watch the ball games. He was a dear father, brother, uncle and friend. When he could, he would lend a helping hand. He always had an outstanding conversation for you and of course his loud voice commanded attention.
In 1980 Bobby married the former Michelle Graham, from that union one daughter was born. When that relationship ended, Bobby and Michelle remained friends until his death.
Bobby will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
