Listen to Obituary

Revelle Michael Williams, Sr., son of the late Maynard and Mamie Williams,

was born on November 22, 1949, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was the

youngest of five children, Larry and Carolyn that preceded him in death. On

September 14, 2017, our Heavenly Father was ready for Revelle to come

home.

Mike, as he was known by his friends was educated in Baltimore City Public

Schools. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and sometimes being a little

mischievous. Revelle and his friends were called “The Three Musketeers”.

Nothing would have broken up The Three Musketeers, until a “special” young

lady came along, “Candy”.

On June 23, 1973, Revelle married Olivia “Candy” Lee who preceded him in

death. From this union came three children Revelle, Jr (Mikey), Janel (Nelly),

and Travis (Bubbie). Even though living separately, Revelle still remained

great friends with his wife, enjoying many Sunday dinners at her home.

Revelle began his early career at Continental Can Company and later worked

for W.R. Grace in Curtis Bay. Revelle was a member of Baltimore Hack Club

and provide transportation services as a part time job. He later received his

CDL’s and started driving for numerous companies, such as; Bricks and

Greyhound. Revelle attempted to continue working but due to knee injuries

had became disabled.

Revelle enjoyed long distance driving and often traveled from state to state.

He also had a love for cars and had many different types of vehicles. Revelle

was always on the move and traveling with the speed of the pedal. In 2009,

Revelle had a near fatal accident that put an end to his time behind the wheel.

Revelle’s last years was spent relaxing and reflecting on life. Many will have

fond memories of Revelle that they will hold near and dear. Our father had a

sense of humor and was always making some crazy cross reference. Revelle

recalled himself, “I was something like a Brock Hudson in my day”.

Revelle is survived by his children, Revelle, Sr., Janel, Travis, Tyrone,

Michelle, and Kim; seven grandchildren, Andrea Pinchback, A’niya Williams,

Nasir Johnson, Sa’miya Johnson, Travis Williams, Jr., Treyon Williams and

Robert Moore, Jr.; great-grandson, Ki’yon Pinchback; one sister Barbara Ann;

one brother George; numerous nephews and nieces; and a host of other

relatives and friends.
