On October 13, 2024, Reginald Bernard Price peacefully departed after a lengthy battle with cancer at Gilchrist Hospice Center surrounded by loved ones. He was born on October 28, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland to Rudolph B. Price (preceded in death) and Gertude Mae Swann.

Affectionately known as Reggie or "Reg", he received his education at Fairmount Hill High School, Baltimore City Community College and the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg.

Growing up he attended New Pilgrim Baptist Church in East Baltimore where he made the decision to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. In October 1994, he was baptized at Israel Baptist Church. In 1997, he joined Amazing Grace Lutheran Church serving as the Youth & Outreach Director. On June 1, 2013, Reggie was consecrated as a Diaconal Minister and on November 17, 2019, he was ordained as a Pastor.

Reggie was employed at Johns Hopkins Hospital for many years, but felt a calling to serve others. He served at Mountain Manor as an Addictions Counselor, Morgan State University as an Outreach Coordinator, dedicated his service as Pastor at St. Andrews Lutheran & Augsburg Lutheran Church. He authored his book "Reggie's Redemption". In addition to his professional work Reggie was the primary caregiver for his mother Gertie.

Reggie embraced life and was often the life of the party. He loved listening to Frankie Beverly & Maze. He had a passion for photography, playing basketball and bike riding. Everyone of his students held a special place in his heart.

This Man of God leaves behind cherished memories to his mother Gertude Swann; his children Tavon Price, Tiara Price, Keon Price and daughter in law Sade Price. His precious grandchildren: Tavon Jr. Taquan, Kenaya, Malaya, Ga'Bria, Da'Yonna, I' Onna and Mayana (expected soon); siblings. Deborah Swann, Theresa Watts, Eric Swann (preceded in death), Myra Swann (Ahmed), Donna Swann and Patricia Brown (Bertrum); aunts & uncles, Tina Doles, Nancy Swann, Wiley Cator and Nathaniel Bennett; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reggie's life was a testament to faith, service and love for others, he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him.
