Rasheedah
Sodipo Jackson
February 10, 1950 – March 21, 2026
On March 21, 2026, Rasheedah Sodipo Jackson, (formerly known as Jacqueline Ann Jeter), and affectionately known as "Mama Rah" of Catonsville, MD, entered eternal rest following a continual illness. She was born in Harrisburg, PA, on February 10, 1950, and attended John Harris High School there. In 1974, Rasheedah moved to Baltimore, MD., and in 2006 she met Rudolph Jackson. They joined in matrimony in 2009. Rasheedah was a member of Baltimore Christian Faith Center. (BCFC).
Preceded in death by her parents, Martha Louise Griffin and Julius Griffin, Jr., her brother Charles Eugene Arnold and sister Donna Georgine Arnold.
Left to mourn her passing are her loving husband, Rudolph (Bunchie) Jackson, her three daughters, Najeebah, Aeysha and Nahimah Furgan, seventeen grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren; her sisters; Chloe Fields of Alexandria, VA., Kay Arnold, of Harrisburg, PA., Qimmah Robinson (Gregory) of Columbia, SC., Janet Addison and Janice Claxton of Baltimore, MD., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, neighbors, and member of her church family.
Rasheedah, (Mama Rah) will be sorely missed by her husband, sisters, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as by all those whose hearts and lives she impacted. Gifts in her memory may be contributed to the National Kidney Foundation at https://www.kidney.org/ May Rasheedah rest in everlasting peace, in the arms of our Blessed Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. Amen.
