Randolph L Jones Sr.

RANDOLPH LANCY JONES SR.,affectionately known to some as "OG" and "OI Man", son of the late Willinard and Virginia Jones. He was born on April 25, 1934, in Blackstone, Virginia. He was a the last son of six brothers all preceded him in death. He departed this life after a sudden illness on March 7, 2020.

Randolph received his education in the Virginia Public School System. He was a stellar student. Later in years after high school, he began his journey in Baltimore, Maryland.

Randolph truly loved his family, friends, outside, sports and telling jokes. He was a real smart-aleck and his favorite word was "Blacky" which he would call you in the drop of a dime. Randolph has quite a few business ventures in his days.

Later in years, Randolph began to start a family in which he had three children before meeting Thelma Ireland(Jones). They later had a son together and got married in 1977.

Randolph leaves to mourn his wife Thelma Jones,(children) Larry Jones, Kim Jones, Antonio Ireland; step-daughter, Renea Bryant. He has eight grandchildren, Shanika (Tavon), Anton, Nathaniel, Edward, Tameka, Quantaye, Lorraine; seven great-grand children, Shatira, Christian, Adara, Roland, Azariah, Darien and Aiden; one great-great-grandchild, Jeremiah; one sister-in-law, Virginia Jones; nephew, Richard and niece Mary.a special adopted niece, Annette and best friend Brick and a host of relatives and friends.

Relatives that preceded in death his son Randolph L. Jones Jr., grandson, Tyreese Johnson and nephew Henry Jones.
