RALVIN PARTLOW, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on August 24, 2025. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on April 8, 1943, Ralvin was the son of the late Viola and James Partlow.

Ralvin, known by his close friends and family as Partlow, grew up in Baltimore, where he attended the city's public schools. He was a man who knew the value of hard work, holding several jobs throughout his life, including working as a trash collector, a dogcatcher and a school bus driver.

He shared 32 years of marriage with his loving wife, Ella Partlow. Through their union, Partlow proudly adopted Norman Dexter Hawkins III.

Partlow was preceded in death by his children Mildred Partlow and Donette Partlow and his parents, Viola and James Partlow. He also joins his deceased siblings, Elizabeth Smith, Elaine Scarborough, James Partlow, Robert Partlow and Anthony Partlow.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Ella Partlow and his children; Ralvin Kurt Partlow (and his wife Chantel), Roger Partlow, Charles Partlow and Norman Hawkins III (and his wife Sharonda). He also leaves behind his sister, Nina Newkirk, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom loved him dearly.

Partlow will be remembered for his sharp dressing, dance skills, love of money, and his singing. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
