RAKELL N. MARTIN born July 8, 1996 in Baltimore, Maryland to Crystal Harris and Kavon Graves. She was later adopted by her aunt and uncle, Molene and Tommy Martin. She departed this life suddenly on July 2, 2022.
She attended the Baltimore City School Public School System. Rakell affectionately known as "Rocky" accepted Christ and was baptized at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was also a part of the Youthful Praise Dancers at Mt. Carmel. Rakell worked various jobs and was known as a jack-of-all trades.
She was a loving and caring person. She was adventurous, funny as well as thoughtful. She loved dancing and making home videos with her siblings and friends. She was crazy about her baby boys; Jayce and Ayce who were the loves of her life. She also cherished her family deeply and would do anything for them, especially her sister; Nashai whom she had a very unique and close connection.
Rakell was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Joan McWebb, grandmother, Lois Graves, grandfathers, Calvin Harris and Kavon Graves, Sr., great grandfather; Thomas Tyler and her favorite uncle Anthony "onk a funk" Tyler.
Rakell leaves to cherish her memories: her sons Jayce Harris and Ayce Jones, adoptive parents, Molene Martin and Tommy Martin, parents; Kavon Graves and Crystal Harris; grandmother, Doris Harris; great grandmother, Elizabeth Tyler; sisters, Nashai Martin, Kymira Martin, Latasia Martin, Lamyia Walker, Maleah Walker, Nabria Treadwell; brother, Larry Walker, Jr., nieces, Harlee and Haize Thomas; nephew, Denim Williams, her special friend Mike and a host of other relatives, family and friends.
