Quilton Willis

Quilton Willis, was born on August 1, 1953 to Lucille Willis and J.C. Moose.  He received his wings on June 24, 2023. Quilton matriculated through the Baltimore City Public School System, where he successfully obtained his high school diploma from Fairmount Hill Vocational High School. He went on to work for Church Home Hospital as a Food Service Worker.  After some time, he ventured to Morgan State University as a locksmith.  As years passed, thanks to his dedication and driven passion; he became a Master Locksmith.  No matter how deep the snow, or how hard the rain fell, he was beyond punctual.  He never missed a day of work unless it was extremely necessary.  Quilton devoted 32 years to Morgan State University doing what  he loved, “being a Master Locksmith”. When the opportunity presented itself, he would dress to impress in his best tailored suits.  Meticulous to fabrics and designs; his ensembles always turned heads.  He was a loyal customer to Gage Men's Wear until the day they closed their doors.  As well as Dan Brothers Shoes.

In his younger years, you could find him playing a good game of baseball.  In his leisure time, you could find him enjoying an episode of his favorite shows: Walker Texas Ranger, In The Heat of the Night, Bonanza, The Lone Ranger and many other westerns.

"Quilt" to whom will be missed and loved by many. He held friendships for over 60 years.  He left a mark with everyone he came across. He was a caring son, brother, uncle, father and friend. Quilton is preceded in death by his parents, Lucille and J.C.; sisters Diane S., Deborah D., son Tracey S., cousin Cookie, and grand prince Amari F. He leaves to cherish his memories; Children: Stacey and Monique S., Courtney W. Brothers: Jerard and Darnell W. Sisters: Sarah Lee (Walter), Vivian T. (James T.), Theresa E. (David E.), Yvonne W., Annette D., Cheryl W., Penny B. Grandchildren: Jasmine S., Ziqiaya S., Makalla S., Tamiyah S., Rubie S.F., Roxie S.F., Cori H., Amir F. Great grandchildren: Journee, Jace, Deuce; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will honor his legacy.
