PHYLLIS ANNE KENNEDY, daughter of the late Maggie Scott and Lee Hawkins was born on November 19, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland. She passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, in Accentcare Hospice at Franklin Square Medical Center.
Phyllis was a student of the Baltimore City School System.
She enjoyed cooking, shopping, maintaining houseplants, and decorating each holiday. She loved reminiscing about working in the bean field and the children at Lakewood Elementary School.
She was employed as a Teacher's Assistant for over thirty-five years. She received a Certificate of Special Recognition for her Outstanding Service.
She was preceded in death by Otto Scott, Sr.; sisters, Gloria Kennedy Bills and Mary King; brothers, Willis Scott, Otto Scott, Jr., and Ernest Kennedy.
She leaves to mourn: one son, John Jordan; one daughter, Jacqueline Jordan; two grandchildren, Quiana Jordan and Delbert Randall, Sr.; four great-grandchildren, Aubrey Kahrim, Delbert Randall, Jr., Amarra Randall, and Blair Williams; four sisters, Hilda Kennedy, Margaret Thompson, Marsha Scott, and Ruth Iduh; nieces, nephews, and countless relatives and friends.
Mother, you are in Heaven. From pain, you have found relief. You are not gone. In fact, you are very near. Your Love lives on in our Memories and Hearts.
