PAUL DICKENS, son of the late Arthur and Mamie Dickens, was born in Baltimore, Maryland. As a twin alongside his beloved sister, Paulette. From the very beginning, Paul's presence was unmistakable-his stature, charisma and vibrant spirit set him apart. He departed this life on February 16, 2026.

Leaving behind a legacy of resilience, love and unforgettable memories. Paul was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He briefly attended Lake Clifton High School in Baltimore, Maryland, where his athletic ability quickly became evident. A natural basketball player, Paul dominated the court with remarkable skill and confidence, captivating spectators and earning admiration from peers. He later continued his education at Samuel Gompers High School # 298.  

Determined to carve out his own path, Paul embraced life with courage and curiosity. He pursued various career opportunities. Demonstrating remarkable versatility and work ethic, he worked for Amtrak for several years and later applied his talents to plumbing before earning his credentials as a licensed carpenter. Paul truly embodied the phrase "A jack of all trades.", mastering skills across multiple professions and always willing to take on new challenges.

Affectionately known throughout Baltimore as "Tall Paul" because of his height and basketball prowess, Paul was a well-known and well-loved figure in his community. He had a natural gift for public relation and never met a stranger. His warm personality, sense of humor and ability to connect with others made him warm personality. Sense of humor and ability to connect with others made him a familiar face at community events and gatherings. Paul loved singing old school music, playing spades and dominoes, and spending peaceful moments fishing and crabbing-pastimes that brought him joy and camaraderie.

In matters of the heart, Paul was charismatic and deeply devoted to his family, he first united in marriage with Jacqueline Dickens, embracing not only their partnership but also her daughter. Lawanda as his own from this union, he was blessed with two daughters, Rasheda and Kristine. Later in life, Paul built a meaningful relationship with Joyce and together they welcomed three children, Paulette, Paul and Valorie (Victoria), through they welcomed three children, Paulette, Paul and Valorie (Victoria), through other relationships he was blessed with additional children; Annissa, Kamora, Shawn, Lakiesha and Kyra.

Though his children were born of different mothers, Paul was intentional about fostering connection among them. He valued family unity and encouraged his children to build bonds that would endure for generations. His love for his family was unwavering, and he took pride in each of his children and their accomplishments.

Throughout his life, Paul faced personal challenges yet he remained steadfast in his faith. In his later years he renewed and strengthened his relationship with God, finding peace and spiritual restoration. His perseverance in overcoming obstacles stands as a testament to his inner strength and determination.

Paul leaves to cherish his memory; his loving twin sister, Paulette; his siblings, Raymond (Joe), Valerie (Val), Wade (Ricky) and James (Pee-Wee); he was preceded in death by his brothers, Marvin and Arthur (Footy). He also leaves behind a host of beloved grandchildren, Jabriya, Timara, Eriya, William, O'Shaura, Shakiya, Sema'j, Elijah, Keon, Jaden, London, Cashmere, Desire, Essence, Messiah, and Dominick. Along with many extended family members, friends and associates whose lives he touched.

Paul's journey was one marked by strength, laughter, love and favor, his towering presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
