Patricia M. Speight

PATRICIA MAE SPEIGHT, was born on January 9, 1951 to the late Margaret and John Wilson in Baltimore, Maryland. At sunrise on the morning of September 30, 2024 Patricia gained her wings and transitioned to her new home in heaven.

Patricia received her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. She had a strong passion for caring for others, holding several jobs in healthcare. In 1992 she was accepted in the Mergenthaler Vocational School Nursing Program where she graduated and received her Diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Patricia was known for wearing crisp white scrubs and talking with her fingers when she was getting her point across. She had many hobbies such as, modeling, traveling, hanging with her weekend social group and spoiling her kids and grandkids. She loved family gatherings to love on her nieces and nephews and talk trash to her siblings especially Beverly (Bep). Patricia had one meal she favored, that only her sister Frances could make to her liking (Chicken and Dumplings).

Preceded her in death; son, Lamont Wilson; granddaughter, Lamia Wilson; sisters, Juanita Elliott and Gloria Wilson; brothers, Leon Wilson and Leonard Wilson; brother-in-law Louis.

Patricia leaves to cherish her life; children, LaShawn and Thomas; five granddaughters, Kiara, Aliera, Dania, Shanera and TaLeia; seven grandsons, Marvin (Kashera), Sharod, Darius, Alphonso, Jeremiah, Tyran and Zyshawn; four great grandchildren, Damonte, Armani, Harlow and Blaise; sisters, Francis, Catherine, Beverly and Margaret;  brothers, John Jr., Lawrence, Ronald, Harold and Emanuel; brothers-in-law, James and Kevin; sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Janet; best friend, Margaret Dunn-Clack; two god kids, Daysha and Nikia; extended family; The Speights, The Elliotts, Jeanette, Roslyn, The love of her life Anthony Dickerson and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
