Patricia Kathleen Johnson was born on November 29th, 1949, in Baltimore, MD, gracefully completed her earthly journey on December 2nd, 2023, surrounded by the love of her son, cherished grandchildren, and dear brother. She was the beloved daughter of the late Oswald B. and Henrietta Davis Johnson, the youngest among her siblings Oswald Jr., Alton and Gwendolyn (preceded in death), and Ellsworth.
Educated within the esteemed halls of the Baltimore City School System, Patricia proudly graduated from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School before embarking on a continued journey of knowledge at Coppin State College. Her professional journey began at Lane Bryant department store, where she dedicated a decade of her life before embarking on a remarkable 34-year career with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington D.C. Patricia's dedication saw her serve in various positions, culminating in her final duty station at the Baltimore FBI field office in Woodlawn, MD, before her well-deserved retirement in 2015.
A devoted mother, Patricia shared an unbreakable bond with her son, Keith. She attended every milestone, cheering on his sporting events and celebrating his academic achievements, watching with pride as he grew into a remarkable man. Her love for Keith was immeasurable, and she wished nothing but the best for her beloved son.
Patricia's faith was a guiding light in her life, confirmed at Saint Philip Lutheran Church in Baltimore, MD, and later attending Saint Paul Baptist Church. Her grandchildren—Alyssia, Branden, Autumn, Braelyn—and great-grandchild, Alivia, held a special place in her heart. Patricia found joy in crafting beautiful handmade baby blankets, hats, and booties, showcasing her talents in crocheting. Her culinary skills were equally exceptional, delighting loved ones with her delicious cookies and sweet potato mash adorned with marshmallows.
A dedicated family woman, Patricia cherished moments with her extended family, including nieces and nephews. A true shopaholic, she shared a special bond with her brother Ellsworth, and their time together was cherished by both. She also spoke with her brother Oswald and wife Ida in Savannah, GA daily. Family and friends were the center of her joy, and she valued every occasion spent in their company.
Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love and memories, survived by her son Keith, grandchildren Alyssia, Branden, Autumn, and Braelyn, great-grandchild Alivia, brothers Oswald Jr. (Ida), Ellsworth (Loretta), Cousin Bernice. A host of Nieces and Nephews and host of Great nieces and nephews. Emma Porter and Johnny Roye of New York. In addition, she is remembered by friends Wilma, Sharon, Tammy, and Wanda, as well as cherished connections with all family and friends. Patricia will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her. May her soul find eternal peace.
