MOSES EARL MCKNIGHT was born on October 11, 1981 to Peggy Lynch and the late Rommie Mcknight Sr., in Baltimore, Maryland. Moses life was tragically taken on May 12, 2024 in Baltimore, Maryland at the age of 42.
Moses, who was affectionately known as "Bird" attended Lake Clifton Eastern High School. He later obtained his GED from Baltimore City School System. His nickname came from his small stature. Like a bird.
Moses was the life of the party. You were guaranteed to have a good time, (always at his expense), whenever you were in his company. He was kind and quiet, until he got in what he would call " Gucci Mode". Then you'd see the true com passionate, loving, giving and talkative man he really was. To know him was to love him and he knew everyone. His presence was welcome anywhere he went. In his down time, he enjoyed watching basketball, talking trash, playing the game and gambling with the best of them. His favorite rapper was Gucci Mane, who he would battle anyone that thought he wasn't the best. His fashion, was ahead of the times. What people wear now, he wore years ago. And if you matched his fly he would enthusiastically say "Oooohhhh that's hard!"
Moses was a man who loved and adored his kids, and would do anything for them and anyone, when he had it. He was a certified mamas boy, who in her eyes could do no wrong. She could find the bright side in anything he did, and always had his back.
He is preceded in death by, his father, Rommie Lee McKnight Sr; his nephew, James Blackston Jr., and grandmother, Hester McKnight.
He leaves to mourn; his mother, Peggy Lynch; three daughters, Makilah McKnight, Peyton McKnight and Peylin McKnight; one son, Kiyon Bond; three sisters, Lestina Ford, Ebony Wright (Rome) and Marie McKnight; four brothers, James Frazier (Jennice), Chester Frazier (Sarah), Joshua Frazier and Rommie McKnight Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
