Michael J. Ruff

MICHAEL J. RUFF, son of the late Annie Mae Huggins and William Thomas Ruff, was born on September 6, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on June 6, 2015 after a short terminal illness.

He received his education at Patterson High School in Baltimore, MD and during his youthful years, he became employed with John Hopkins, Sinai and Bayview Hospitals.

His journey led him to marry Claudine Kirby, and from this union, one child was born, Janae Ruff. He was also stepfather to two.

Michael made numerous friends wherever he ventured, and he will truly be missed by everyone. To know Michael, was to love him. He was a true and dedicated friend to many.

Michael loved all sports, but his greatest passion was the love of basketball. He was respectful and supportive to the
elderly, loved kids and was very protective over them.
Michael kept a smile on his face, and his famous phrase was 'Case closed ....l love you!'

He leaves to mourn: four sisters, Angela (Linda), Tangela, Chevelle and Shawn; two brothers, John (Scooter) and Kevin; daughter, Janae; two grandchildren, Taiwan and Makia; two stepchildren, Mike/Mike and Queta; two sisters-in-law, Evon and Joan; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
