Michael L. Bessick

MICHAEL LEON BESSICK, was born June 15, 1951 to the late Bernice and Harry Bessick. He unexpectedly departed his life on November 8, 2019 at Genesis Healthcare Cromwell Center, at the age of 68, where he was cared for the last year of his life. Michael graduated from Baltimore Public Schools.

Michael was a devoted father who had many talents. He was a Master Barber who was an experienced professional when it came to cutting hair and grooming others. He loved martial arts, and was a 9th degree black belt instructor who trained others in karate. He enjoyed roller skating in his earlier years, had a great sense of humor, loved being a jokester and he was great at making others laugh. Above all, Michael loved his family dearly and will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Michael was preceded in death by his brother Harry Bessick Jr.

He leaves to mourn; his beloved children, Monique, Keisha Bessick-Jones (Antwaun), Tia Bessick-Godwin (Curtis), Dynisha Bessick- Hinton (Eric), Michael Bessick II, Jon Bessick II, Jon Bessick and Demarko Bessick; His four sibling Maria Rooks, Johnny Bessick and Sylvia Whitaker; one sister in law, Cozetta Bessick; his twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
