Melvin Woods Sr.

Melvin Woods Sr. youngest son of the late Robert E. Woods and Louise Woods was born on August 7, 1959, in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on April 9, 2022.

Melvin received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System and was employed at The Double T Diner on Pulaski Highway for a number of years.

Whenever you saw Melvin, you were greeted with a smile or a joke. Melvin had a great love for music and was known for his basketball skills.

Melvin will be lovingly remembered by his step mother, Gennie Long; son, Melvin Woods Jr.; brothers, Charles Woods (Crystal), Larry Woods( Idella) and Robert Woods; (3 siblings preceded him in death, Shirley Booth, Dorothy Watson and George- Lynn Woods); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
