Maurice Swilling

MAURICE SWILLING was born on February 14, 1991 to Marcell Swilling and the late Sherrell (Pebbles) Brown. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.

He received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System, along with numerous awards and proudly his G.E.D. while he was incarcerated.

Maurice, known to everyone as 'Doodie', was a very sweet and kind-hearted young man. He was known for that handsome smile of his. Doodie loved to rap 'The Migos". He loved to make everyone laugh and sing his heart out. He always wanted to be best dressed saying, "this look right?' and "you heard me?'. Maurice loved spending time with his family and most importantly his number one lady, whom he cherished, his "Granny".

On October 21, 2015 Maurice was called home to reunite with his mother, Sherrell Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his grandparents, Helen and Harry Brown; his father, Marcell Swilling; five aunts, Towanda Townsend, Alicia Brown, Shirell Swilling, Nette Swilling and Sharon Swilling; three uncles, Cedric Brown, Tony Swilling and Jermaine Swilling; two uncles-in-law, Keith Townsend and Jerome Caldwell; one brother, Marcell Swilling; eight special cousins, Kenya Jacobs, Devonta Clark, Lynette Bailey, Darrell Page, DeAndre Harville, Jada Brown, Mandy Brown and Zion Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
