Maurice E. Hill

Maurice Edward Hill, better known as Markey was born March 17, 1967 to Eula Mae Hill and the late Haywood Louis Hill. Markey passed April 4, 2021 after a long fight with cancer.

Markey received his education at Mervo HIgh School.

Markey was employed in the restaurant industry where he was the manager at various food chains he also enjoyed doing carpentry on the side.

Markey was most known for telling jokes, always causing a room to fill with laughter. You also could not tell him he wasn’t the best chess player that ever lived.

Markey was preceded in death by his father Haywood Louis Hill.

He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Eula Mae Hill; daughter, Ashley Marie; two grandchildren, sisters, Sannovia Hill ,Euphemia Hill; brother, Haywood Louis Hill Jr.; best friend, Myron Chew; nephews, Terrence, Davon, and Jamel; nieces, Chante, Shakita, Simone ,Tori and Zoey.
