Mary Deal Robinson, daughter of the late William Murray and Bessie Pierce was born on December 3, 1931 in Tennile, Georgia. She asked the Lord to take her hand and departed this life on Saturday, December 4, 2021 after a brief illness.
In 1949 at an early age Mary was the first in her family to migrate North from Wrightsville, Georgia where she made Baltimore, Maryland her home until her death.
After raising seven children as a single parent, Mary met and married George E. Robinson in 1966 and from this union they had one son, Andre. George preceded her in death in 2010.
Mary joined Mt. Moriah Church of God in Christ in 1975 under the leadership of the late Thomas E. Mary dedicated her life loving, caring and nurturing several children for working parents. She was the surrogate grandmother. She loved having fun and laughing. At times Mary would take trips to the mall with her daughter for sightseeing and eating at the food court. Mary enjoyed playing card games especially spades, she is the reigning champ and last played two weeks before her death. There were two things that was very important to her and she was most proud of that was faithfully paying her tithes and voting, she never missed the opportunity to honor God and exercise her right to vote.
If you ever called her you can here her answer ;”Hey Babe”; her term of endearment. We will truly miss her but even now we take comfort in knowing that she's in the loving protection of our Lord and Savior surrounded by loved ones who have gone before.
