Martha O. Williams

MARTHA O. WILLIAMS, daughter of the late Jack and Florence Seward was born June 13, 1926 in Lawrenceville, Virginia. She transitioned on Wednesday April 28, 2021.

Martha affectionately known as Muma, Granny and Grandma Martha, gradated high school prior to moving to Maryland. In 1950 she married the late William Williams, Sr. and from that union three children were born William Williams, Jr., Florence Williams who proceeded her in death and Sabrina Edwards. Muma loved her family, greeted everyone with her infectious smile, effortlessly taking care of others without hesitation, riding the bus everywhere, couponing, watching the stories, playing lottery, telling jokes and being brutally honest but in the next breath having you sit in the prayer chair. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting her you couldn't do anything but love her. Martha was truly honest, sweet and most selfless person GOD created.

Martha leaves to cherish her memory her son William Williams Jr.,(Shirley), her daughter Sabrina Edwards (Kevin), niece Veronica Epps and nephew Kennard Seward; 9 grandchildren, Shawan (Richard Jr.), Darrian, Ashley, Tamika, Michelle, Tia, William III, Sherhonda and Antoine; 23 great grandchildren, Dy'Mond, Richard III, Deasija, Jessica, Jazmyn, Jeremiah, DeAndre, Davonte, Isiaih, Ty'Jae, Makayla, Brooke, Michael, Larrell,  Akeria, Wilnayah, Trinity, Niyea, Wilyanah, NiAsia, Paris and Ashton; one great great granddaughter, Ny'Zira her "home girl" as they would jokingly say. Muma very dear friend LeLar Hayes and a host of other relatives and friends.
