Marjorie Tubman A.K.A Margie was born January 10, 1943 to the late Hullane Hill & Louise Savage. She was called home by her Heavenly Father on January 31, 2022.
She attended Baltimore City Public Schools. She then landed a job at Armco Steel Corp until the company closed in 1995. She then went back to school to receive her Geriatric Nursing Assistant license and worked at Erickson Oak Crest Retirement Community for 25 years.
Margie moved to Houston, Texas in 2007, to spend more time with her son Randy. There she worked for The Erickson’s sister-company, Eagle’s Trace Retirement Community until she retired in 2015. She then decided to move back home to Baltimore to spend more time with her daughter and enjoy retirement, which included shopping on Amazon, listening to music and watching her sports.
Margie is preceded in death by her daughter, Felicia Tubman. She is survived by her three children: Lorita DelPino, Donna Dangerfield and James Foster III (Randy); four sisters: CamillaStokes, Rena Williams, Cynthia Turner and Patricia Smith; two brothers: Charles Hill and Leonard Hill; nine grandchildren: Nakisha Holmes, Octavia Brown, Darryl DelPino, Travis Brown, Shanna Banks, Kevin Hawkins, Maurice Smith, Tonora Smith, and Terrence Smith; fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends, especially her close friends Naomi Harrison & Margie Cottoman.
