Margaret B. Ballanger

Margaret B. Ballanger was born on November 14, 1933 in Baltimore MD. She was the daughter and only child of the late Mary Matthews. Margaret was favored by Gods Mercy and was called home on Sunday August 6, 2023.  Margaret received her education in the Baltimore Public School System.

She was employed as a housekeeper and also provided child care in both Baltimore and New York City. Margaret shared a special relationship with the late Willie Swan. She had two children a daughter Ursula (Desi) Frazier  who preceded her in death and a son Vincent (Tony) Ballanger Margaret was well loved and shared her love with everyone she met.

Holidays were her favorite as she enjoyed cooking, singing and sharing her words of wisdom with family and friends. She was the “glue”  to our family and known as “Ma” to everyone in the neighborhood.

Margaret leaves to mourn: her son Vincent (Tony) Ballanger, four grandchildren Candace (Candy) Frazier-Irwin,  Robert (Bay)Frazier,  Ciara Charles and Kailen Ballanger five great- grandchildren Darius, Alexis, Kyree, Haven and Logan one great-great grandson DJ and a host of family and friends.
