Magnolia Jordan

MAGNOLIA JORDAN , the beloved daughter of the late Talitha

and Jonah Cunningham, was born on September 30, 1923. She

departed this life on November 8, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland.

God in His infinite wisdom, sent His heavenly Angels to take

her home.

Affectionately known as "Mama" to her family and close friends,

she attended public school in Person County in Roxboro, North

Carolina. She later met and married Robert Jordan. "RJ" as she

called him, preceded her in death.

Mama was a strong, family oriented woman who loved to

travel to Roxboro, North Carolina to be surrounded by family

and friends.

Mama gave her life to Christ in 1964 an became a member of United

Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. She loved serving the Lord.

She enjoyed spending quality time cooking, sewing and making

quilts. It really touched her heart to be able to share her quilts

with family and friends.

Mama leaves to cherish her memory: nine children, Lonnie,

Robert, James, Peggy, Clipper Willis and Mildred all of NC,

Lois Janet, Mary Ruth and Tracy Edna of MD; sister, Curlistee

Townsend from MD; favorite cousins, Estelle and Doris; three

sons-in-law, four daughters-in-law, and a host of grandchildren,

great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives

and friends.
