LYNETTE GRAHAM-REED was born on March 29, 1959, to the late Brady Graham, Jr. and Julia Mae (nee Smith) in Baltimore, Maryland. She transitioned from this life to eternal life with The Father on Tuesday June 17th, 2025 @ 2:39pm.

Lynette was the sixth born of eleven children. She graduated from Dunbar High School in 1977. After graduating high school, she trained in the data entry field. In 1985 she started at Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Data Entry Operator in the ER. Over the next 40 years she dedicated her career to Johns Hopkins Hospital advancing through roles such as Registrar and ED Coordinator. During her career she was instrumental in guiding the billing practices of the ED and she played a key role in ED's transition from paper to electronic medical records. "Her leadership, knowledge and meticulous attention to detail have helped our department meet billing standards and excel during compliance audits time after time. "(Gai Cole, Chief Administrative Officer, Department of Emergency Medicine, Johns Hopkins Medicine) in October of 2024 she was promoted to Compliance and Billing Coordinator Supervisor.

Lynette received her Christian education and was baptized at Israel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Harley W. Wilson, II. She was a member of the "Nurses Unit", attended Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.

Lynette married Timothy Odell Reed on Saturday September 14, 2002, at Martins Northpoint Garden. Their marriage, a testament to love and commitment, was filled with the blessings of companionship, shared dreams, and unwavering support for each other. Together, they nurtured their family, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Lynette's presence was a source of encouragement to those around her, as she consistently supported the goals and aspirations of her family and friends. She was an avid gardener, a good listener and an excellent hostess who enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. She was a devoted movie goer and watcher, horror and suspense being her favorite. She attended art school and was a gifted artist, specifically, portraiture and still life drawing. She was commissioned to do art installations for both Evan Temple and Memorial Baptist Church. Lynette's love for life was evident in her hobbies, whether she was tending to her garden, bringing beauty into the world through her art, or immersing herself in suspenseful films that kept her imagination alive.

A proud native Baltimorean Lynette was the first secretary of the Belair Edison Community Association under the leadership of Rita Cruise. She was known for her compassionate heart and her steady support for those around her. She lent her time and talents to causes that uplifted others, embodying kindness and generosity in all her actions. Whether at work or in her personal life, her ability to connect with people left an indelible mark, creating lasting relationships based on understanding and mutual respect.

Lynette is preceded in death by her parents Julia and Brady Graham Jr., her sisters Esther Juanita and Vanessa Graham and her brothers Bruce and Bryant Graham.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted husband Timothy Odell Reed, three children Anthony Brady, Phillip Jamal, and Ashley Laverne; five grandchildren: Paige Elizabeth, D'mari King Maurice, Ashlynn Tarae, A'riyin Parisley Denise, and Ashtynn Tori; four sisters: Julia M. Benefield, Rachelle Graham, Rhonda P. Graham and Angela D. Graham; four sisters-in-law; Margaret Reed, Glynis Reed, Tracy Reed and Michelle Johnson. Two brothers: Brady Graham, III and Duane A. Graham; one brother-in-law; Anthony Reed (Joann Reed): eight godchildren, Devonna R. Graham, Damon R. Graham, Cheri Pittman, Anthony L. Johnson, Dawn A. Graham, Nathanial Sparks, Jr., Noah J. B. Sparks and Austin G. Williams; thirty-four beloved nieces and nephews, treasured great nieces and nephews, precious great-great nieces and nephews, and loved cousins too numerous to name, a close and beloved friends.
