LOUISE C. JOHNSON, was born August 12, 1947 in Baltimore, MD. After a lengthy battle with multiple illnesses, Louise, surrounded by family passed away peacefully on October 13, 2019. Louise was born to Elmo and Elizabeth Lawrence,who both preceded her in death. Louise was one of ten children. Elmo Lawrence, Jr. (deceased), Ruth Jefferies, Mable Bracey (deceased), Mayso Lawrence (deceased), Jerome Lawrence, Gloria Holman (deceased), Annette Jones (deceased), Stacy Lawrence and Tracy Jackson. Her siblings and she had a very special bond.

Louise was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. Ma Ma or Lou, as she was affectionately called by many, married the love of her life, Clarence Johnson in August of 1961. From this beautiful union three children were born.

Louise had a very colorful personality. She loved music and loved to sing. On any given weekend you could find Louise cleaning her home, polishing her crystal and belting out several Oldies but Goodies. She was a great singer, and even at one point in her life, she sang with a group. We all know that Louise loved her Bingo and not to mention, some good CRABS! Louise had a number of talents, she was a great seamstress, a dependable childcare provider and an awesome cook. Not to mention the best Neighborhood Back-to-School Block Party Organizer ever. Louise was also one of the Organizers/Leaders of the Eastside Rockers Marching Band, one of the best in Baltimore City. As you can tell, she loved to be in charge.

Louise leaves a lifetime of joyful memories to her devoted family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Clarence B, Johnson, five children, Ditangula S. Scriber, Lamont Johnson, Cynthia M. Digg, Robin (Vanessa) Stanley and Kia Taylor; three Sons-in-law, Robert Scriber, Kevin Diggs and Donyele Taylor; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Johnson; seven grandchildren, Tavon Tabb, Tridonna White, Lamont Johnson, Jr., Dontre' Johnson, Michael Lambert, Davon Stanley and Kimora Taylor; six great-grandchildren, Nikeria Mickey, Tavon Tabb, Jr., Kevin Stern, Lamira Johnson, Kamren Tabb and Tristan Stern; step-mother, Louise Lawrence; three sisters-in-law, Pearl Lawrence,Elizabeth Johnson and Lynn L. Smith (Wakil Smith); three brothers-in-law, John Jefferies, Clifton Johnson and Robert Johnson (Pauline Johnson); and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. And her neighborhood block watching partners and special friends, Debbie & Joe.
