Louise Branch

LOUISE BRANCH, daughter of the late Eldridge St. Rose and Emma Green, was born on June 9, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland. She married the late Robert M. Branch, Sr., and out of this union three children were born. On Friday, February 26, 2016 Louise was called home to rest after a lengthy illness.

Louise was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Dunbar High School in 1959. She began her employment as a factory worker at Camp Manufactory. Louise devoted numerous years of service as a cook at St. Ann's Church where she enjoyed working with the community. later in 2015, she rededicated her life to Christ and joined Kingdom Life Church where she never missed a service when feeling well.

'Cookie', as her family and friends knew her, loved to cook. She always made sure there was a hot meal around for everyone. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and traveling. Shopping was her passion and not even during her illness did that stop her from buying new clothes. Cookie always kept up her appearance and was very fashionable. So much so, that even in her last days she was requesting curls in her hair. She especially loved seeing her great-grandchildren and having a pizza and movie night.

Louise leaves to cherish her memories two devoted daughters, Robin Branch-Johnson(son-in-law Garland Johnson) and Renee Branch; one son, Robert M. Branch, Jr.; eight grandkids, Shantia, Robert, Danielle, Donielle, Deneen, Dominique, Bobbie, and Daenard; two adoptive grandchildren, Shampain and Kelvin; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members; a devoted family friend, Brenda Doyle; a goddaughter, Yvette Green; and one very special niece and best friend, Martha Green; she was preceded in death by two sisters, Aurelia Awkward and Constance green; and two brothers, Harry Green and Eldridge Green.
