Listen to Obituary

LISA ARNADA DAVIS-FITTS, daughter of the late Richmond Davis and Mary Brandt was born on February 18, 1967, in Baltimore, Maryland. Her Heavenly Father called her home on February 8, 2018, after battling her illness.

Lisa accepted Christ at an early age at New Antioch Baptist Church. It was there that she was baptized by Rev. Dr. Willie S. Chambers.

Lisa attended Western Senior High School and earned her degree from Morgan State University. She had a grand time at both. After graduation, she married Timothy Fitts and out of that union two daughters were born. Falisha and Maya, Lisa loved and cared for her girls with everything in her.

Lisa was always busy doing something because she just couldn't say no to anyone. In the Fall of 1993, she and her young daughters joined the Northwood football family. She was the Cheer Coordinator from 1997 to 1998. Lisa was Director of Oldtown Gators Football Cheering Program form 2000 to 2003. Also, during that time she was under the leadership of Benjamin Dubose of the Maryland District Amateur Athletic Union.

From 2003 to 2004 she was the Maryland Football Cheer Coordinator where she sat on the Board of Directors. She also held positions as Boys Basketball Commissioner, Sports Director of Cheerleading and Dance & Baton Twirling. Lisa traveled nationally representing Maryland AAU as a delegate in leadership conferences and conversations. She received numerous championships and titles (Pink Diamonds, Lady Rams and Lady Rammettes).

In 2007, she joined the staff of Bluford Drew Jamison Academy, an all boy charter school, under the leadership of former City Councilman Carl Stokes, Benjamin Dubose, and Edwin Johnson, as their Administrative Accountant.

Lisa pledged Delta Sigma Theta in 2007 on a line of 138 women. She was known as "Lucky Charm" since she was #13. She enjoyed her line sisters and spoke highly of them.

She was a woman of many talents! Lisa, along with her first cousin Lynn, and one of her closest friends Tracey, started Custom Party Designs which included Event Planning, Invitations and Favors. It was later known as the "L's Have It". Along with her daughter Maya, she established Sweet Treats & Thangs & Jewelry Kouture. Lisa was also a certified Real Estate Agent.

To raise money for the cheerleaders, Lisa, along with Larry, Lynn, Reggie, Maya and Connie, known as the "Ravens Crew", ran two, sometimes three, concession stands during the Ravens home games. There were many laughs and much fun during that time.

Lisa was always busy and there is no doubt that will not change. Her address may have changed but her legacy to help others will live forever.

Lisa leaves to cherish her memory, her Mother, Mary; three brothers, Richmond Ray, Reuben, Reggie; two daughters, Falisha and Maya; four granddaughters, Lyric, London, Jayla and Madisyn; goddaughter, Sabrina; special friend, Larry; five adopted daughters, Connie, Shama, Sierra and Kylie; one adopted grandson, Da'Quan; 137 Delta Line Sisters; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends who love her.
