Linwood E. Ransome

Linwood E. Ransome Sr., son of Norman Ransome Sr., and Dorothy Dixon. born on December 10, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on January 1,2026 after a lengthy illness.

He received his education in Baltimore City Public Schools, later to continuing to enter the workforce working several years with his family at Capital Concrete. Linwood learned to prepare pipe forms, build, and tie steel reinforcement cages, mix, and pour concrete ,finish surfaces and cure products. Linwood Loved getting up with family and friends to help them out with anything where he was proficient in being an Auto Mechanic and an Auto Detailer.

Linwood accepted Christ as his lord and Savior at a young age. 

He loved the festivity of a social gathering and made numerous friends wherever he went. Earl will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him . He was always a true friend and a devoted family man. He was a man who believed that family is what makes you live; an no matter what happens to you, or where you are, your family will always be there for you.

Linwood is Preceded in Death: Father Norman Ransome Sr.,( Mary Ransome) mother, Dorothy Dixon (John Dixon), Brothers Norman Ransome Jr., Darrell Corbin, three sisters, Ann, Dora , Shirley Ransome, and beloved companion Joanne Curbeam.

Linwood E. Ransome Sr. leaves to cherish his loving memory: his Two Brothers, Arthur Lee Ransome, Gregory Ransome (Tanya Walker), four sisters, Mary McDonald, Keisha Ransome, Katrina Bridgers and Patty Hunter. four Sons, Linwood Ransome Jr., Timothy Ransome Sr., Deshawn Ransome and Daveon Ransome, fourteen grandchildren, Brea, Linwood, Shawnta, Demeka, Darius, Micheal, Davontay, Dashawn, Tamijah, Timothy, Te’Asia, Tyon, Deshawn Jr. Daveon Jr, Daveonna ,four great grandchildren, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
