Obituary of Lillian Davis Jackson. Born August 12, 1929, she departed this life on January 20 2022.
The daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Davis, Lillian received her education in the Baltimore City public school system. She later married the late John Jackson Jr. Out of this reunion , two children were deceased before birth. They later received Glen from birth as their own. Glen was deeply loved by the Jacksons.
Lillian was a member of the Eastern Star. She joined Fountain Baptist church when they were without a pastor. Later, in 1929 she was baptized again under the leadership of Pastor Herman A. Ford. She loved the Lord and her church family. Lillian loved and enjoyed singing on Fountain's choirs. Lillian was a soft and tender-hearted person. If she could do anything for you, she would. She loved feeding stray cats in the neighborhood, and continued to do so until her death.
She had three sisters and three brothers, Catherine, Delores and Lucille, and George Jr, Herman and Irvin, all preceding her in death.
She leaves to mourn her death, son, Glen; nieces, Glenda, Cherly, Angie, Niecy, Teresa and Tange Davis; a special great-niece Carolyn Della; special nephew, William, and special friend she called her sister, Marlene.
Aunt Lillian, we close our eyes as we wipe a tear. We just keep wishing you were still here. We will hold all the memories deep in our hearts. Through these memories we'll never part. We close our eyes and wipe a tear. We just keep on wishing this pain would disappear. We just didn't think you could ever die. All your love, we will always hold near in our hearts, and in our minds we will never be alone. When our time comes we will meet you in heaven. We love and miss you. Your nieces and the Davis Family.
