Lillian O. Dean

Lillian Overa  Dean Brooks 78, of Baltimore, Maryland (MD), daughter of the late

Tom Shirley Kellam and Louise Kellam was born in Madison, North Carolina (NC) on August 18, 1939.

She received her formal education in Madison, NC and Baltimore, MD. Lillian moved to Baltimore,

MD at an early age. She was the youngest of four children.

Lillian, affectionally called Lil, drifted off to be with the Lord on August 18, 2017 at Joseph Richey

House, Baltimore, MD due to complications resulting from several strokes with family by her side.

Lil was united in holy matrimony to Vernon L. Stinnett, Sr., and they were blessed with nine children.

Lil held several jobs in Baltimore, MD and Florida. She was a homemaker managing her family's

home caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved fishing, gardening with her green thumb,

watching horror movies and westerns and the Baltimore Orioles. Lil joined Reid Temple AME Church

and loved attending with her son Vernon, Jr. until her health failed. Lil loved going to church

receiving the word from Pastor Washington and loved listening to the choir.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Deborah Stinnett, Baltimore, Vernon L Stinnett, Jr., (Bonnie)

Upper Marlboro, MD, Diona Moore (Jamie), Wanda Wiley, Michael (Cynthia) all of Baltimore MD,

Sheila (John) Gage, Hartford County Shoshana Johnson ( Jeff), Kentucky, Todd Stinnett and Melody

Stinnett of Philadelphia, PA, 20 grandchildren, April, Amber, Shanita , Vernon 3rd, Michael, Latasha,

Devin, Jared, Shaun, Jamie, Ari, Tiosha, Calvin,, Mona, Raven, Jillian, Lamar , Isaac, Steven, and

Stephon, 18 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews and

other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Willie G. Kellam, Charles T. Kellam and sister,

Shirley L. Roberts. Husbands, the late William Dean, Jr., and Ellsworth Brooks.
