Leroy A. Hale Jr.

LEROY A. HALE JR. son of the late Leroy A. Hale Sr. and Nettie A. Brooks, was born on March 9, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on June 23, 2020 after a brief illness.

He received his education in the Baltimore City School System. Upon completing high school he was employed at Abacus Corporation and Value City.

He married the former Mary Lee, and out of this union three children were born, Maria Mary and Hattie Hale and one son Dontae Hale from a previous relationship.

Leroy made friends wherever he went and loved music by Anita Baker and loved to dance.

He leaves to mourn: his mother Nettie A. Brooks, son Dontae Hale, three daughters Maria Thomas, Mary Hale, Hattie Hale, stepson Raymond Morton Jr. and devoted friend Mary Lee, two granddaughters, Ashlyn Mayo, Shayla Thomas and one grandson, Ryan Thomas, 1/2 four sisters, Cynthia Harrell, Denise Duffin, Patricia Barbee, Bonnie Ford (Andre), three brothers, Lamont Matthews, Terry Hale, George Brooks Jr., one uncle, Rufus Black Sr.(Louise), one son-in-law, Carlos Thomas and a host of sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, aunts, uncles, a friend, Squirt and thanks to Judy and Sharon for their excellent services provided to Leroy Hale, Leroy A. Hale Sr. and stepmother, Helen Hale preceded him in death.
