Leon Milton Scott was born on July 15, 1940 to the late John and Sarah Scott in Baltimore, Maryland. He was peacefully called home on March 31, 2016.
Leon received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. He graduated from Carver High School in 1960. After graduating; Leon went into the U.S. Army where he proudly served his country for nine years.
After an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, Leon went to work with Duralite Truck Body and Container Corp for twenty years, until retirement. He was dedicated and hardworking and
always gained the respect of his superiors, peers, and personnel.
Leon had a great love for his family and friends. To know him was to love him, and in knowing him you understood that as much as he enjoyed his family and friends, he also enjoyed time alone.
During his time alone he enjoyed cooking, and watching sports.His favorite football and baseball teams where the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles. He was also a stickler about his appearance, always making sure that his shoes were shined before leaving the house.
Leon was united in holy matrimony to Barbara on September 16,1995. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers Clarence, Harry, and Howard Scott.
Leon leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Barbara Scott; one sister Margaret Scott; two daughters Michelle Scott- Morgan, and Theresa Scott; one grandson Zachary Curry Jr.; two granddaughters Nicole Divers, and Tamika Morgan; one great grandson Darius Curry; one step daughter Shontell Manobey-Lloyd two son- in-laws
Tommy Morgan Jr., and Eric Lloyd; one step granddaughter Julia Lloyd; Four sister-in-laws Brenda Jones, Beverly Jones, Rachel Cox, and Laverne Jones- Johnson; nieces, nephews and friends.
