LENDORA ELIZABETH RADCLIFFE, daughter of the late Kinball and Anita Radcliffe, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 15, 1948 and suddenly departed his life on February 14, 2015.
She received her education in the Baltimore City Public School System and following graduation from Jane Addams Vocational/Technical in 1967, became an employee of the United States Post Office in downtown Baltimore, remaining there for several years. After resignation, she began managing and facilitating the operations of J. Kelly Jr. Moving and Storage for over 20 years.
Upon the company's closing, she gained employment with Johns Hopkins Hospital and Franklin Square Hospital.
At the time of her passing, Lendora was an employee of the University of Maryland Medical System, Department of Clinical Pathology in the capacity of Laboratory Technician.
Being reared in a Christian home, at a very young age, she gave her life to Christ through Baptism at Zion Baptist Church, 1700 N. Caroline St. in East Baltimore.
Lendora enjoyed baking; and many enjoyed her baking, especially the holiday cookies and pies.
Lendora had no natural children but 'Mothered Many'. She was Godmother to Ms. Kathy Davis, with whom she shared 'A Very Special Mother-Daughter Relationship'.
The Department of Clinical Pathology, University of Maryland Medical System expressed great feelings of 'the loss of the department's 'Mother' and an outstanding employee'.
Lendora was preceded in death by a sister, Anita Ruby Radcliffe, brother, Timothy Radcliffe and nephew, Kimball Greer.
She leaves to mourn: her loving sister, Joanne W. Radcliffe; nephew, Phillip C. Austin; niece, April D. Scott; great nieces, Danika, Maya, and Traquia, great nephews, Kendall and Marshall; and a host of family and friends.
She will be sorely missed.
