Lashawn S. Lucky

LASHAWN S. LUCKY, affectionately known as Shawney, was born on September 9, 1966, to the late Gloria Sesay and the late William Floyd Crudup Sr. in Baltimore, Maryland. Shawney grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, surrounded by a loving family, including her sisters Adrianne Spencer, Alecia Lucky, Latanya Evans-Crudup, and her brother William Floyd Crudup Jr.

Shawney's life was marked by her dedication to her family. She was the proud mother of Shalander Lucky, Andre Lucky, Latrice Collins (Michael Collins), and her baby boy, Dominic Carter. Seeking a fresh start, Shawney decided to move back to Baltimore, MD, where she began a new chapter in her life.

Her love legacy live on through her 14 cherished grandchildren; Michael, Kimya, Domuieique, Christopher, Amije, Amory'e, Kiah, Chase, Jonathan, Serenity, Adria, Michaela, Kayden, Kaylen and A'nna.

Shawney was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Sesay; her father, William Crudup Sr.; and her sister, Adrianne Spencer. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
