GERALD BUSH was born to Rayfield and Martha Bush in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended Baltimore City Public Schools. Upon graduating from Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School. He was drafted into the United States Army. Gerald served in the vietnam conflict and received an honorable discharge. He then was employed by Baltimore City Public Schools.
Gerald accepted Christ at an early age. Being baptized at United Baptist Church in Baltimore. On January 8, 2024, the Angel assigned to watch over him called name, letting him know it was time to receive his wings.
Gerald was called Tommy by family and friends. He enjoyed watching sports and was a huge fan of the Baltimore Orioles. Tommy spent time reading his Bible and enjoyed spending time at the Va. Hospital. Those who knew Tommy would know that he could always be found laughing and joking at Lexington. Gerald loved his family with all his heart.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents. Rayfield and Martha and his siblings, Francis Haynes, Jacqueling Bush, Christine Brown, Anthony Bush and Leroy Bush, Gerald is survived by his daughters, Romunda Tyler and Lisa Tyler-Pace; one son-in-law, Raynard Pace; five grandchildren, Cierra Tyler, Joseph Savoy, Raven, Ronald and Ryan Cox. He also leaves a legacy of five great grandchildren, Rylan, Reese,Rashon, Reagan and Raj. He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews who cared deeply for him, especially his lifeline, William Langley (Rink). He also leaves to cherish his memory George Nelson, his best friend and a dear special friend Gloria Curtis, along with a host of extended family and friends.
