Kevin D. Cox Sr.

KEVIN D. COX born June 23, 1968 to the late(s) James O. Cox Jr. & Brenda Mae Calloway, departed this life on June 15, 2024 after is body gave in defeat to cancer but his soul took refuge with the Lord.

Kevin was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and a proud graduate of Patterson High School Class of 1985. Kevin had a love for family and would step in and help out in any way he could. From odd jobs at his cousins appliance store to caring for his nieces, nephews and younger cousins. Kevin was the one you could count on if you needed him. He loved music and dancing and every chance he got you could catch him listening to his favorites or showing the kids how he use to dance at every event.

Kevin was proceeded in death by both his parents, paternal grandmother, Gladys & James Coz Sr. maternal grandparents, Irene & Jerry Calloway, nephew Levon Stokes and great niece Kelsy Washington.

Kevin leaves to cherish his memories; son, Kevin Jr.; grandson Ky'aire Cox; his devoted caregiver & aunt Mama Laura (Michael Sr.); two sisters, Tonya and Ebony; extended family, Kennard Sr., Michael Jr., Lisa (Lady), Nicole, Bennie, Anthony and Taleia; aunts, Sandra, Marie, Marvina, Valerie, Sharon, Carol and Robin; one uncle, Anthony Cox, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and a close friend Darlene White.
